Our Stylist Directions:
Step 1: Wash hair gently with Pure NV Clarifying shampoo twice (2) for chemically treated hair, three (3) for virgin, grey or resistance hair. (Focus on washing the hiar not the scalp).
Step 2: Blow dry hair 100% using medium heat.
Step 3: Section hair into desired sections. (Be sure to wear gloves). Shake bottle well and begin to apply the keratin with a tint brush from scalp to ends. Using a comb distribute the product evenly through the hair.
Step 4: Cover the hair with a plastic cap and let sit for 10 minutes for normal hair and up to 20 minutes for resistant hair. After the appropriate time has elapsed blow dry using a paddle or vent brush.
Step 5: Re-section hair and beginning at the nape of the neck using 1/8 sections begin flat ironing the hair from the base to the ends using a flat iron with the temperature set between 430 degrees and 450 degrees. For normal hair set temperature to 450 degrees and for fine hair use temeratures set at 430 degrees. Be sure to seal the Keratin into the hair by repeating the smoothing process with the flat iron more than one time per strand. Work your way through each section of the hair.
Step 6: Be sure to inform the client not to wet hair for 96 hours to allow the hair to be transformed into the desired smoooth straight results.
Step 7: Be sure the client maintains the hair with Simply Straight Prolong products. Hair should be shampooed with the Simply Straight shampoo, conditioned with the Simply Straight Conditioner, brushed and styled with the Simply Straight smooth serum and finished with the Simply Straight spray gloss.
Warning: This product is strictly for professional use only. Should this product accidently come into contact with eyes, immediately wash our with lukewarm water for 15 minutes. This product does not contain Formaldehyde, but must be avoided by women who are pregnant or breast-feeding. This applies to both salon professionals and clients alike. Keep out of reach of children. This product along with Permanent Waves, hair color and highlights should be used in a well-ventilated area.
